Primary comparative analysis

Two apparently unrelated typical houses are compared. The goal is to investigate the basic aspects of dwellings.
This analysis targets the single point in which the two case studies share valid common grounds- the spatial relationships which architecture creates and inflicts on its users.

The investigation of these houses focused purely on their performance in terms of the immaterial relationships they produced with their form and layout.

Bill Hillier’s syntactic analysis methods were used in combination with environmental programmatic and circulation analysis.
Conclusions from this study were implemented and further explored with the development of the Hypergraph archetypes of dwelling phase 2
